'Little Things' Music Video - Review
So watching this music video made me very very happy; this was the first one out of all the music videos they've had that isn't upbeat or with girls in the video.
I noticed that they were singing to them. So you'd think that, "Oh, they think beautiful girls are THAT. THAT'S what they define as beautiful. THOSE girls have what it takes to be beautiful."
...Or at least that's how I felt. That it seemed like, because it was a love song, they had to have a girl to serenade so girls would be like, "I wish that was me!"
But in 'Little Things', I can officially say it's my favorite music video they've done so far. And honestly, will always be up there as time goes on because it really will be a hard video to beat.
It was, like I said in a previous blog post, that it was very simple, toned-down, etc.
Alot of fans really did not like that. They thought all the guys looked obviously really hot in it, but I saw that many expected a storyline.
:)
Not me! I was 100% happy with the way this turned out.
I did NOT want a storyline. Out of every idea, anything BUT a storyline to the music video. Why?
Who wants to see a GORGEOUS girl's face every time they hear this song, knowing that those 'imperfections' really don't exist, according to the actress? It would go against everything they've been implying in the song.
So I'm really glad it was a studio version. The way I looked at it, it was as if the boys came and wrote this song together for some girl that one of them really liked. And then they sang it with the feeling, as if they know how the guy felt.
Bottomline, because it was so simple, it was as if they were singing to me. It's really mushy and "Oh my gosh really" kinda perspective, but watch it again.
What are they looking at? Some girl with the perfect body? Running around in the ocean or camping out? Nope. They're looking at you. Because the song IS to you. Maybe not directly from the boys to you personally, but I think they're representing how all guys (with the right morals and maturity) look at girls.
They want us to know that they do see our imperfections... but not as that. They see them as a part of us they love :) So by looking at the camera, it's definitely more sincere and believable that guys truly believe that.
I'm really proud of the vocals of the boys in this, you can tell they have the passion in it that really shows through. I also wanna thank Ed Sheeran for writing such a beautiful song that could've literally saved a girl out there. <3

*Drumroll* LITTLE THINGS!
I present to you... 'Little Things' the music video!
Sorry it's late, I literally got home right this second and turned on my computer to post the link. I got to watch it at school but didn't get to post it :(
Anyway, I think this is absolutely AMAZING. Simple... but effective. ;)
What do you guys think of the songs from Take Me Home?
To be honest, I cried hearing one of them. Seriously. So emotional, feelings were everywhere, I was a mess.
I definitely like their soph album better than UAN. But of course, the songs on the first album will forever and always be classics!
I'll post more, this was a quick update because my family is going to watch a movie now, so I'll be on later hopefully! xx -N

Finally In America
Just wanted to post the short clips concerning the countdown to the 'Little Things' music video :) They had finally made it available to the US!
But effing Zayn's (3 Days to Go) disabled embedding so here's the link - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aFQYF7CWE4Y&feature=share&list=ULaFQYF7CWE4Y
And so was Louis' from today (2 Days to Go) here - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cib60CxrR34&feature=channel&list=UL
ANd of course, Niall's, which was available :)
Personally, I think the music video will be much like Justin Bieber's 'That Should Be Me' vid feat. Rascal Flatts.
Ya know, sitting in the studio, singing it while some of the boys play instruments.
Or maybe not, I'm just guessing from the camera shots in these clips.
For sure though I know they'll be very different from LWWY, as I don't think they'll be joking around at all, really.
Don't get me wrong, I loved 'Live While We're Young', but it's a party song, ya know? It's a REALLY good tune to dance to. But personally, I love ballads and slow songs and kinda Jason Mraz/Ed Sheeran vibes, so this had to top it..
And I've gotta say that 'Little Things' is probably my favorite song they'll sing. I already know that. It's one that, if I ever feel down on myself, I can automatically go to this and feel 10x better.
Lastly, lemme know if you haven't seen the boys' UStream yesterday and I'll find you a link somewhere. Hopefully you watched it though, it was hilarious, I loved it. And literally, I love Ziall. So much. Thank you for letting them sit next to each other.
Replay.

#LittleThingsChallenge
So if you haven't heard of the #LittleThingsChallenge, it's started obviously from 1D's new song, 'Little Things'. You can watch this on the previous blog post!
Anyway, the challenge is to write some insecurities about yourself that you may hate. And the point of this isn't to make yourself feel bad, or show the world how imperfect you are; so many people have taken part in this challenge, and THAT shows A) how many active directioners are, B) how insecure people can get, and C) how WAY similar we all are as humans to have insecurities.
In addition to this, as to not make this depressing, you must write some things about yourself that you love. Could be anything. And don't worry about boasting. At this point, loving yourself is the best thing you can do.
And if you want, which I will actively try to do, is to find something beautiful in my day, whether it be an act of kindness, a song, quotes, nature, etc. I will create a page linked to the right side of this blog soon to write all my 'Little Things' in. So watch out for that!
If it's something you're interested in doing, I highly encourage you to.
Because I'm 100% positive that someone out there really thinks you're beautiful... It's true, you are. And all the things about you that you hate.. well, it'll be someone's favorite thing about you.
Okay, so I guess I'll start up with mine! And yeah, I was a bit hesitant to post this because I know a couple of people who follow this blog so kinda awkward there, but I think all you directioners with twitters that I've gotten to know might find this helpful in their situation. I even heard that the challenge saved this one girl's life as she saw what everyone goes through, especially when addressing what you 'hate' about yourself.
That's the power of five very talented guys who sing with passion, and one buddy of theirs with the amazing skill of writing.
Alrighty, here it goes...
I've got to admit that I have multiple insecurities. Silly ones, maybe.
One of them is how short my legs are. Because I'm short, they're short. Not much explanation there haha.
Another is probably my stomach/thighs. That general area is just in need to change. Absolutely hate them.
And that leads to my weight. I've got a low metabolism, so I can pretty much gain 102043049342 pounds overnight. Before high school, I never really watched what I ate; I wasn't aware. But as I started going to the gym and working out, I found that I started to look at calorie count, carbs, trans fat, etc. It's like an addiction. And I've lost some weight, but not to the point where I'm happy with myself. Not quite yet.
Those three are my main ones. Others are just like, how dumb I can get, how my laugh is REALLY loud it's embarrassing, and stuff like that. And like, my face in general. I feel like I'm always making such weird faces all the time.
I kinda dislike it when people call me 'cute' and all. Don't get me wrong, it's nice of you, but I've been getting told that more and more and I just feel like it's now people's way of saying "Oh, you're a wittle bitty girl, so innocent and young." And it's probably true. But I don't really see how that's cute, to be honest. It isn't my 'humor' either. I don't make people laugh because of my jokes. People laugh at me for eating in class and being stupid. At this point, the usual thing to say is "SORRY I'M NOT PERFECT. And sorry I'm hungry all the damn time. Not my fault!" ...but I'm not even going to apologize for something about me. Not even going to say sorry. I've accepted it, you need to also. It's funny the first time, get over yourself.
And for my friends, if you happen to read this, don't think it's you. I wouldn't write mean stuff about you <3 When we laugh at me, it's actually funny, ya know?
And that concludes my insecurities. On to my favorite things about me -
So I found that this list is a bit longer than my insecurities. Some girls would think that it's because I'm not aware of them, but I am. I've just learned to accept and love them.
For example, my cheeks. They're chubby and rosy and stuff, but whatever. I used to hate them and be conscious of them, but one day, I was like "Screw it." and now I love them! Weird, huh? Anything like that happen to you?
Another thing I love is kinda my personality. I kinda love my personality. My friend Megan asked me why I take crap from people, like when they laugh at me, and it only dawned on me then that I don't really care. I seriously don't. Talk about my insecurities behind my back, it's fine with me. You know they're there. I know they're there. What's the big deal? You point them out as if I don't already see them. BUT I DO. Of course, words hurt from time to time, but I really try not to let it get to me. And fortunately, for the most part, they don't.
I love how short I am. Yeah, I sorta mentioned it in my insecurities, it's a love/hate relationship. But it's nice to be short in many ways. Like one thing is that I don't have to worry about height differences with guys. It's great, really. But not like it matters right now, as there are no guys hangin' around hahaha.
Aaaand I love how easily I smile. I don't have a great smile, but I love it nevertheless. I can smile at anything. I found that this can actually be a struggle for some people, so I'm thankful I can smile so easy, and smile so real.
So this concludes my blog post! Hope you guys like it, and I REALLY REALLY REALLY do encourage you to do so. Please DM me, comment below, etc. if you had written one, because I'd love to read it <3
I'd also like to say I do love 'Little Things' so much to the point where (I was talking to my friend with this earlier) that I'd get a quote from the song tattooed on me. Not a huge one, but a tiny one, maybe circling around a heart or something. Long-term thing. And I'd also want it to be played at my wedding as the slow song. :)
I learned I REALLY needed to hear the song and its lyrics and meanings. Basically, 'Little Things' was the original Challenge as it listed insecurities of this girl. But as you've quickly learned, they are things a guy would truly love endlessly. Because it's a part of you, they add up to you, and he loves YOU.

Ballad
SURPRISE! Here's the new song... Personal favorite, of course.
And I might've peed myself when Niall sang.
Maybe.
No seriously.
If you're spazzin, check the quote under my blog name.
It's Niall's solo.
Yes.
It's a long one.
Little Things is such a sweet ballad.
You can tell I'm freaking out huh.
No.
Well a little.
Can't sleep.
Goodnight lovelies. :)

Sneak Peak of 'Little Things'
I should start off by saying that this is from my sources. It has not been confirmed nor denied, but what is nowadays? It may have been from Ed Sheeran who gave a little verse from it.
And yes, it's NOT the one that they officially released on twitter. If you don't know that one, here it is:
Your hand fits in mine like it's made just for me…
I guess I'll talk about this one really quick before talking about the lyrics I found.
I think this line is absolutely cute. And a very very common saying. But who cares right? It's still adorable. And to hear that coming from one or all of the boys' mouth... :) :) :)
So now that we've got that down, here is the little excerpt from 1D's new upcoming single, "Little Things".
I know you never liked the sound of your voice on tape
and you've never loved to know how much you weigh.
And you still have to squeeze in your jeans
but you're still perfect to me
I just would like to analyse each line, if that's okay. Because I can believe this is off of the new song. And I do really love this verse, even if it turns out not to be true and just a rumor :)
Overall.. it's something I can definitely relate to. In fact, it's like they're singing about me.
First line: YES. Omg, it's literally the worst thing I can listen to. I used to sing in advanced choir in elementary and middle school, and when my parents would record my solos, I would refuse to watch them. I. Sound. Terrible. Hate it so much...
Second line: This is also true. The only scale we have in my house is in my parent's bathroom, where we use it for my siblings. I haven't weighed myself in so long; the only time I step on the scale is when I have annual check-ups at the doctor's. Otherwise, I don't weigh myself at all, much less want to know how much I weigh. I'm never FULLY 100% happy with how much I weigh anyway, I don't think finding the actual number would help at all.
Third line: HAHAHA I absolutely love this line, honestly. Recently actually, my jeans have been looser because I've been forcing myself to work out in addition to swim team, so I think I've lost a few pounds thank goodness. But that doesn't mean I'm down to a size 00. Definitely not - I'm still a big thick around the hips, making it quite hard to shove my lower body into a pair of jeans.
Last line: Awwwww, it's deff cliche enough to be a 1D song ;) But it really ties all these.. accusations? .. together. After stating what we girls hate about ourselves, it IS nice to hear that there really is someone out there who'll love us, with every little flaw we have. Because who knows? Something we hate about ourselves could end up being someone's favorite thing about you.
---------
And a quick update of what I like to call now..
"What's the Craic?" (lol hollaaaa if you get it.. I'm hilarious.)
- Lou won his charity match game two days ago, if you didn't know already. Congrats! Pictures out are so sweet, the boys looked very proud of him :)
- I found from my sources that 1D were the one of the highest-ranking, richest British stars (though Niall included), but I checked on Google and saw that they were in fact, 5th place in that Top 30 list. Nice boys!
- Apparently, Harry has over 23 tats (geez...) and Zayn has over 17.. but not like we'd know. I believe this though, Harry has a new freaking tattoo like every other day. I bet Zayn and him just draw random tattoos on each other and be all like "OMGZ THIS WUD L00K SO CUTE ON YOU!!1!1!!!" ...seriously.
- EVERYONE thinks that TSwift's new song "Come Back... Be Here" is about that fling Haz and Taylor had awhile back because she mentions London. I honestly don't have an opinion about that, lol...
Will update more frequently, bye guys xx
