Alright, so I wanted to address the Louis Tomlinson drama going on recently.
1.) People think Louis is allowing fame to get into his head. From my point of view, I disagree. Sure, maybe he's warmed up to the fact that he can't walk outside a building without being bombarded, but I think that's it. Beyond that, I believe he's still the same old jokester we all know and love.
Right now, since he's in America, it's still considered a foreign place to him, so obviously he can't be as outgoing and himself in interviews (Modest! is part of this problem, but this isn't about them). You could tell by his tweets that he's still very thankful and feels that this is all surreal.
Even if fame is getting to him, what matters is that he still acknowledges the fans and the music quality, right? We shouldn't judge a person on his change in personality either. I bet if you've gone through what those 5 boys have, you'd act quite similarly, if not, the same. We're lucky they have girlfriends, friends, and family to keep them grounded. So please let Louis be. We don't know what he's been through. But on the outer-most layer, you could already see the hate penetrating.
2.) That brought up a whole new topic. Hate. 1D gets hate enough (I could name quite a few in my school alone), imagine what each of them gets, just being themselves. "Gay", "homosexual", they've heard it all. Louis has heard it all. With all the rumors and crap going around, beneath is a thick layer of hate that will, sadly, always remain there. How do you think he feels when he sees hate from 'FANS'?! You're probably thinking "Louis doesn't get hate from fans! We love him!" Yeah, okay, no. REAL directioners will NOT hate on any of the boys, no matter what. YES, there are some disagreements and disappointments that we may feel when they mess up or do something stupid (i.e. Harry throwing a TV out a window...Harry... oh boy. hahahaha) but real fans would stay behind them. After all, they're human!
We all make mistakes, some of us the same mistakes they make. Paparrazzi are just VERY good at wording stories out of proportion, making it seem like it's way worse than it already is.
3.) The now infamous story of Louis Tomlinson and the restaurant jerks. Here's the recap:
Okay, well I've been researching, and no one really knew what happened. There were even fake recordings of a chick calling the restaurant asking what happened (you can find it here). Thank goodness Louis said it was fake (his tweet here), clearing up most of THAT drama. But, people still believed that something went down at the restaurant that made Louis a jerk.
Then, the lovely and beautiful Eleanor Calder (Louis' girlfriend) tweeted a twitlonger clearing up everything. Whatta supportive girlfriend :) AND it finally proved to the 'fans' (directionators alert...) that Louis was in fact DEFENDING his little sister, who was rudely spoken to. Now we can all calm down and start fangirling on how sweet Louis is.
4.) Just kidding. Because our fanbase just HAS to have drama. Now, onto the carrot business. So, here's the story, plain and simple: Louis turned down a bag of carrots.

Alright, now that I've modeled for you what twitter looked like yesterday afternoon, you've got a basic idea of the crap that went down. So, again, I did my research and found that he really didn't take them (here's a gif to prove it). One, LOUIS IS 20 YEARS OLD. IMAGINE YOU BEING 20 AND HAVING CARROTS THROWN AT YOU. Secondly, tying in with my first point, it was a joke he made two years ago! It's like, yes. We all know that joke. For the people bringing in carrots, nothing against you, but it's kinda telling us other fans that you're a newbie, like you JUST found out the carrot joke. Third, Louis said "I like girls who eat carrots." If you really wanna 'impress' him, EAT a carrot. Not shove a carrot bag at him.
Sorry. I'm getting mean. But it frustrates me how much people are making a big deal out of this. And in the gif, you could clearly see they were a bit busy (though Liam actually got the carrot bag later on... oh Daddy Direction. Watching his boys' back. Love him.). So all I'm asking is that people don't judge Louis by his direct actions corresponding with rumors. Give him a break.
So, this wraps up my beautiful rant on Louis, though it isn't a negative rant. I believe I'm defending him haha. And how could I not? Sure, Louis can be very sassy, but that's him. You'd know he gets pissed off easily, especially when it comes to rude comments against his family, girlfriend, or other 1D boys. The solution? DON'T MAKE HIM MAD. Some directionators already piss Louis off, giving us real fans a bad name. So please, save the hating for the haters. ;)
